The 2017 Yard Waste Season has started in our City, and will end the second Friday of December. Consult your City calendar for more important Yard Waste information. Calendars are available for pick up in City Hall.

Yard waste is defined as leaves, grass clippings, garden debris, fruit from a tree (ex apples, pears etc) shrubbery trimmings and brush or tree trimmings.

Place all yard waste in paper lawn bags or in 20 to 32 gallon containers clearly marked "YARD WASTE". Use paper lawn bags whenever possible to alleviate wet compost. Do NOT put compost into plastic bags.

Large brush is defined as pieces of brush longer than 4 feet in length and no greater than 4 inches in diameter. To ensure large brush service, you MUST call GFL at 1-866-772-8900 by 4PM the day before your regular service day.

Materials NOT allowed in yard waste include branches or limbs greater than 4 inches in diameter, stumps, root or dirt balls. For the safety of workers, all branches must be tied in bundles, weighing 60 pounds or less.
